State Fair Fun 2008

We went to the State Fair and stayed until it closed...after midnight. We observed the White Lions from India. They were fun to watch because they played with each other as if no one was there. Then we watched a reptile show. The reptile man was informative and had a sense of humor. We all liked the show even when he scared half the kids with a huge snapping turtle. Then it was off to the rides for the rest of the night. After about 10:00 pm people started leaving and the kids were able to get on all the rides without waiting in line. Lots of exercise for poor mama! Of course we ate caramel apples, popcorn and ice cream. The Funnel cake line was long all night...must be yummy...maybe next time. Next year, we may even make it to the animals. Sky said "there were animals there? It sure did smell like it!"
