Fall Hike

I took the kids on a 3 mile hike to Silver Lake and Twin Lakes at the top of Solitude resort. Some areas were a little treacherous but the kids did great and had fun. We had a picnic in the trees. The leaves are turning beautiful oranges, reds and yellows. My camera did not do it justice. The air was full of pine and fragrant flowers. The girls had fun identifying small animals and climbing rocks. Sky looked for Fall leaves and pinecones to bring home. Sky wants a cabin up there. Me too!
