Christmas 2010 Wrap-Up

I know, I know, a little slow in posting pictures of Christmas.  But here we go...
So, we started the holiday with Sky's performance at school.  Wall to wall people and hot in the auditorium but so worth it! These sing-a-longs are always fun to watch.  He is getting better at singing and dancing.  Then on Christmas Eve, we had our traditional family dinner: Cornish hens and sides. After dinner, we went to Temple Square with my mom, Randy, Anne and Audrey, to see the lights. Beautiful.  We ended the night with hot chocolate, kids opening stockings and one present, Jammies.  The kids also exchanged gifts that they bought each other. On Christmas morning, Sky woke me up around 7, not bad!  We opened presents and the kids made their piles of riches.  We then went to my mom's for our Mexican/French breakfast: tamales, quiche, blintzes, eggs, sausage, and Mexican pastries and hot chocolate.  Sky loves grandma's tamales.  We opened more presents.  Then we headed to the Allens.  Grammy always has a spread of good food also.  So, we ate again (we couldn't help it.  It is all so yummy.) We opened presents and played.  We usually go to my dad's house next but he retired to the Philippines with his wife.  We will see him in the Spring.  Great people, great food and great times.
