School Carnival and U.S. State Fair
Bennion Elementary hosted a "state fair." Teams of 5th and 6th graders chose a state to research and educate the school and community. Sierra chose Oregon because she loved being there so much. (Thanks Heather and Brian) Sierra and Riley did a good job with their display. The school also had a carnival. The kids look forward to this all year. Every year the carnival gets bigger and better. The kids enjoy activities, games, bouncy rides and junk food. The cotton candy was yummy! A fun way to kick off Summer!

That's a great display! Looks like it was a lot of fun.
Jordan did Oregon too! His class was supposed to bring a treat that kind of represented the state. He brought chocolate chip banana bread, because that is what Heather made him when they were up visiting them. We laughed when he told us what he wanted me to make. It made Heather's day too.
